Entry into the Calleen Art Award 2017

 

I am thrilled to be selected as a finalist in this years Calleen Art Award.

The Calleen Art Award was established in 1977 by Patricia Fagan OAM. The winner of the 2017 Calleen Art Award will receive $20 000 in prize money and the winning work will become part of the Calleen Collection at the Cowra Regional Art Gallery.

The announcement of the Calleen winner will be announced at the offical opening on 6th May at the Cowra Regional Gallery.

Exhibition dates are 7th May to Sunday 18th of June 2017.

2016…making a start!!!

Australian artist,Rhonda Campbell paints from her travels into the Australian bush(outback)HAPPY NEW YEAR to all..Well I have made a start. I have been inspired by my travels into the Australian Bush(outback).This painting, done in acrylics, is of The Lost City ….near Cape Crawford in the Northern Territory,Australia.This sacred site is only accessible by helicopter.It is of ancient rock formations…truely magnificent!!!
